Coding & Development
Many times designers need to get their PSD to HTML without the challenges of writing the code themselves. We work with designers to do just that by using:
- Valid markup: We strive to ensure our sites validate with current coding standards to keep them readable and relevant into the future.
- CSS: We use CSS to separate layout from content, employing several style sheets in any given site to maximize efficiency and readability. As browser support for newer versions of CSS grows, we look forward to implementing those specifications more broadly.
- Accessibility: We are well versed in accessibility standards for the web. Our primary goal is to build semantically correct, valid markup and separate the layout from the content using CSS. We keep our HTML clean and "human-readable" to support screen readers and other assistive devices. (Note about Section 508: Not all of our clients require Section 508 compatibility. If you you or your audience needs or may need Section 508 implemented, please mention it when you contact us.)
Additionally, we work with a variety of content management systems (CMS) –including hosted solutions like SquareSpace and self-hosted solutions like Drupal– should you or your client need to update their web site "in-house".

- perform "one off" HTML, CSS and JavaScript enhancements on an as-needed basis.
